Three months has felt like 3 weeks. I've never seen time fly by so fast. It feels like yesterday when I boarded a plane early in the morning in Nashville, Tennessee having no clue to what was to come of the next three months. I keep having to remind myself that DTS isn't even over. I have two more amazing months to look forward to in Amsterdam. If you asked me to sum up in a sentence of what I have gotten out of DTS...I would have to say that I have encountered the Creator God and His love in a way that I could never possibly imagine. One of the many, many amazing facets of the love of God is that you can encounter it in a new way every day.
I'm so thankful we serve a God that loves for His children to have fun. This weekend, the men from Team Amsterdam went cave diving. Our leader had been to this secret location before and the moment we saw the fresh water, we knew we had jump in no matter how dark and creepy it might have been. I brought my snorkel with me and swam down to where the cave ended. As I dove down a few feet, I looked down with the underwater flashlight and was surprised to see the vastness of the cave. It kept going and going. Too dark to see how far, but my imagination told me it went to the ocean. If I only had scuba gear. As I was underwater looking at a huge black hole, I couldn't help but to think of how detailed Creator God is. Finding God in His creation never ceases to amaze me. My mind continued to wonder while I was submerged for those 10 seconds or so, to think what if that lava tunnel just kept going and going, deeper and deeper and never ended. We cannot even begin to understand how deep and how great are the things of God. Psalm 145:3-Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no-one can fathom.
We leave in 10 days. Please pray for more unity and more anointing. I feel such an urgency for this outreach. The other day as we were interceding for Amsterdam, we were claiming that we will see change in this city. We will see revival and reformation. Why can't it be us that reaps that harvest. Please join with us in praying and contending for absolute reformation to this amazing city. Can a nation be saved in a day. God's arm is not too short, family!!
I am still raising support for the time I will be in Amsterdam. If you would like to give, this is how you can do so:
