Follow Me

Matthew 4: 19, "Jesus called out to them, "Come, follow me, and I will show how to fish for people."  That's all Jesus said to the disciples and at the drop of a hat, they left everything they had ever known.  Not knowing the persecution they would face.  Not knowing if they would have food to eat, a place to sleep or if they would ever have a family of their own.  They didn't even know who this man was.  But they realized the anointing on Him.  This was the first teaching we received as a class on Monday.  Among this word and many others, to say the least I have been eating some quality steak this week.  Jesus is asking if you will follow Him, no matter what.  With no questions asked.  With no regrets.  No doubts.  If you trust Him, there will be no hesitation.
Middle ways through the week, we learned our outreach location.  From the beginning, I had felt led to Amsterdam.  Then when all 11 or 12 choices were laid out, all of the sudden Berlin/Poland stuck out to me.  They gave us 10 minutes to pray and decide.  I waited the whole 10 minutes to hear from God and ended up writing Berlin/Poland as my first choice and Amsterdam as my second choice.  I'm extremely excited about our team and going into the red light district to share the love of God.  There is a prayer room set up in the middle of the red light district.  We will also be going to Germany for one week where we a Fire and Fragrance DTS is being established.
I want to share with you all a testimony that prayer can change things.  I believe it was Thursday while we were in the prayer room worshipping, we started to sing over Burma/Mayanmar.  We sang Burma/Myanmar belongs to God over and over.  Later that day there was a cease-fire declared from a civil war that had been going on for many years.  Don't just pray your prayers, but believe them.
Lastly, I can't express how much I believe lives are going to be changed in Amsterdam.  I am believing for a shift in culture in that city.  I am still raising funds for this trip which will cost me right around $5,000.  I would love it if you could partner with me in this journey.  When you support, you are just as much a part of what God is doing as I am.
